The Club is a mixture of new construction and homes up to ten years old. While approximately half of the residents are full time, the rest arrive from the US, Canada and Europe to enjoy the winter season. Living full time in Founders, I have found the friendliness and mix of other residents (including those with young children, those who are still working, and those who are retired) to be its biggest asset. The Club is a popular meeting place for all, with many special events, great dining, and a comfortable environment to relax and catch up. The golf course is quite a challenge, but with both club and informal games played on a regular basis, the cameraderie amongst all players – whatever their level of expertise – is truly a pleasure.
Situated 3 miles East of I75 on Fruitville Road, The Founders Club is less than 20 minutes from downtown Sarasota, perhaps 15 from The Mall at University Town Center, and one hour from Tampa international airport.
